| 10.04.2013 comet Panstarrs C/2011 L4 23 Single images , taken between 21:39 and 22:16 CEST on the Sofienalpe in Vienna, Canon EOS 5D1 and EF 24-105 1:4 L IS USM ( open aperture , telephoto setting , automatic white balance ) on Mount NexstarGT at 20sec exposure time ISO1600.The JPG images from the camera were slightly reduced and assembled without further processing at a animated GIF The mount is in the azimutal installation tracked on the comet from GoTo hand controller (frame rotation of the stars around the comet during the recording sequence). The irregular temporal sequence comes from the extensive removal of those images that have included aircraft Startrails. Towards the end, the comet emerged in the light cone of Vienna. Furthermore, we recognize camera shake (despite wind) in some single frames and at the position of comet. This comes from the primitive control of the motors in this Childrentoy Mount. The appearance of the comet with its tail corresponds to the visual impression in a small pair of binoculars.
