| 20.05.2004 Comet Neat (C2001 Q4), CCD-camera2 , Harpoint observatory, 50cm RC f=4m, 10min exposed rotational gradient filtering clearly brings out jet structures in the core. There can also be seen shell structures in front of the core in the direction to the sun, which are remnants from former activity spots. This filtering method produces some artefacts visible as dark and bright traces in the outer tail region. [filesize 143 KB]
